  • stressed cos i keep getting mad triggered by reading about other ppl having caregivers who taught them things like how to tell trees apart and how to catch tadpoles and who went on like walks with them and shared their hobbies or just regularly were near them and spoke to them and im sure thats not allowed!!!

yesterday saw something about parents helping u to process emotions and im like nO that’s definitely fake no one ever has parents who acknowledges emotions other than to laugh at them lmao bad joke no one relates to that get off the stage

there’s a crucially underplayed difference bw caring what someone thinks and caring how someone feels

  • “When the mind is fixated on one spot, it cannot pay attention to another. This means that the fluids of the constantly flowing body tend to concentrate in one place or another at any given point in time. Thus, ‘when energy fills everything, the mind is also present everywhere’. (Huainanzi 1.16a). When, therefore, the whole body is filled with energies, the mind must be present in every place at the same time. This in turn means that every tiny and remote part of the body is filled with awareness, and the movements and actions of the body are coordinated to perfection. Thus it appears that it is ultimately less that energy fills the body, more that the mind is present everywhere: it makes human beings come to life and keeps them going.”
